E16 1UA 238296 I am a Nurse with 17 years experience, currently not able to practise as it has been 3 years since my training has been accessed therefore I have been working as a Carer for the past 3 years due to an injury I sustained on my lower back and can no longer withstand the 13hr shifts as a Nurse. Due to the vast experience I have working as a nurse I am able to give good quality care to my client's in all aspects of my work. I am a good communicator, able to implement and prioritise my work, collaborate with other multi-disciplines which enables me to achieve quality and excellent results for my client's. I also have extensive knowledge and experience in working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and social classes. My background is general nursing, e.g respiratory, surgical,palliative care, catheter care, incontinence etc. I love water aerobics, reading, and I love cooking, very happy person and love to make people happy. I take great interest in the well being of my clients and what makes them happy. Also my wide experience as a nurse has given me much confidence, attention to detail which I believe I possess and use to my advantage to deliver excellent and quality care to my client's. When on assignment I prefer to take my own food to work and I can also prepare basic meals for my client. I’m also able to engage with other multi-disciplines e.g physio, GP etc to plan/take my clients to various appointments /other leisure activities using the patient’s car as long as it’s insured for me to drive as my car’s insurance is personal and not Business or other means provided or go for walks if the client is mobile and not at risk of falling. I also prefer to have my 2 hours break every shift. Bank holiday is double time/pay. Generally I like to keep my clients entertained by engaging them in doing things that they like and enjoy to do like knitting, board games, gardening, letting them choose and participate in planning their meals if they are able to and generally whatever makes them occupied and happy. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

Before then I lived in the Netherlands where I worked in a variety of care environments, including support work, nursing homes and domiciliary care. With over 20 years of professional care I have a wealth of experience supporting clients with complex conditions and needs. I am self motivated with an outgoing personality, and have a genuine passion and fondness for working with those who need my services. My hobbies are reading, walking, swimming and cycling. Available for live in position anywhere in UK. I have a full UK driving licence and comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles. I always practise compassion and understanding as I know how important this is to the wellbeing of my clients. More so, as a carer, I know the importance of respecting the current abilities of my patients. I always try to focus in the moment with my patient - looking at photos, listening to music together, cooking favorite meals and most importantly, remembering they weren't always sick. I'm a good communicator with good interpersonal skills owing to my previous background in medical sales. I carry out my duty with empathy and dignity. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1,3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1,3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1,3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1,5,3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":"0"}

I am a naturally positive, warm and empathetic person, with excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour. I am a hard worker and well educated and always looking for opportunities to grow my skills. I am extremely patient and a good listener and enjoy learning about and spending time with my clients. I am very adaptable and take a person centred approach, finding ways of working and a rhythm that suits each client. I try to always help my clients to feel safe, respected and valued in my care, and this has in the past encouraged clients to come out of their shell and enjoy socialising and engaging with the people around them. I also enjoy helping my clients access a range of activities outside of the home and to help them pursue their interests such as visiting art museums and local attractions, gardening and birdwatching, going out for tea or supporting a local sports team. I am currently working towards a qualification in art therapy and in the past have used my creative skills to help clients connect with others and find a sense of joy and achievement through music, dance and art. I pride myself on making a positive difference in peoples lives. I have wide ranging experience in care needs; including dementia, care planning, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, palliative care, end of life care, post hospital care, stroke and depression. I am skilled at personal care and am an excellent cook and housekeeper. I am in the process of completing my Curam training in moving and handling and administering medication so will be able to offer these skills very soon. I have worked as a personal assistant for a number of clients, where my organisational and writing skills have come in useful. In conjunction with care duties I have experience managing appointments, travel arrangements, personal and business correspondence, household management and planning and hosting events. I have a drivers licence, fully covered for business car insurance and am confident navigating my way around the city. I am available for hourly work in North, East and Central London, and part-time for overnight and live-in care within reasonable commuting distance of my home in North East London. IG11 8LG 14310 I am a Carer/Support Worker since 2012, as I became a volunteer with my local carers charity organisation, presented by my college PA as, I was enrolled for my Health and Social care course, I have been introduced to their borough clients. Their clients were mostly the elderly people, who needed help in their own homes. After a couple years, as, I really loved my job and people whom I care, my next step was to find a job in a particular field. 2015 I started work with a care agency, which brought a care for children and adults. Here, I worked, as a Male Support Worker. Also, I attended a lot of trainings. As, I worked for a couple agencies, my job was to assist to vulnerable clients in their homes. Stay in their homes and help people with personal care, to do shopping, to drive them to the medical appointments, or to their relatives. Help them in their everyday needs to feel more confident comfortable and as much independent, as they can. Also, I worked in London and other UK hospitals, Rehabilitation Centres and lodges. I hold Health and Social Care Levels 2&3. My hobbies: Reading, music, traveling, Church. Mostly, I like spent my time with my family, to listen to good music, watch positive programs and surf the net. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}
