She had mobility problems. Therefore, I was finding it very difficult to leave my cousin alone. I felt like I needed to be there with her all the time so that I would help her by bringing toys and other things, we played with her too. I believe that was the time when I developed the character of a great carer. There are so many carers out there, but you have got to be a great carer if you possess 6Cs. (Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment). A great carer knows how to reinforce the enduring values and beliefs which is 6Cs that underpin care whenever and wherever it takes place. I believe these values that I possess make me a great carer. I am willing to offer personal care. I have a clean DBS certificate that can be viewed on the DBS update service and a clean driving license. I have experience of doing blood pressure check, monitor and observation checks, peg feeding, catheter and stoma care. I have lived in England for 18 years now and I speak English fluently. I am willing to travel to anywhere for placement. Travel expenses can be organised depending on where I go. I am a pet lover but I prefer to work where there are no pets so I that could give all my time to my client. I am available to work 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Presents self as courteous, respectful and helpful I expanded my skills by learning First Aid and Anatomy and Physiology, demonstrating that I have ability to initiate emergency action when required e.g. Cardiac arrest, fire, during my training I have found my passion as I continue to pursue my education in college to progress my career as nurse. In my training I also developed basic IT skills. In 2021 I decided to proposed a career in nursing. I enrolled in NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent level qualification and experience, that qualification ability to maintain and improve knowledge, skills and competence to ensure high standards of patient care, ability to carry out routine elements of assessment to enhance the patient / client journey, following an initial assessment by a registered practitioner, ability to meet basic care needs of patients, washing dressing, assistance with feeding, and understand the individual and the duty of care. My simulated placement on my level 2 has developed my ability to work holistically and with a person-centred approach. I have an excellent understanding of healthcare legislation such as the equality act 2010 and the human rights act 1998, which helps me to align myself with trust values and core behaviours. I understand confidentiality because within my role I need to keep data secure and safe. I follow GDPR regulations and have a thorough knowledge of safeguarding from my level 2 diploma. I am looking to continue my level 3 care and in few years' time finish my degree as nurse. I am confident that my experience makes me a great carer and I could be of great help to any client. I am available on weekends, and some evenings during the week.
