BN24 5DP 210700 Hi, My name is Marijana. I studied physiotherapy for 4 years in Croatia. After school I ended up traveling and working as a massage therapist in different hotel's spa resorts. When I moved to UK I missed working in care sector and my friend recommended to try community care which I loved then I had an opportunity to work as a support worker with adults with physical and learning disabilities which I deeply enjoyed but as I like to move around I realized I needed to do something different so just before lockdown I became a live in carer and ended up having a few private live in clients. I have been a support worker/community carer/live in carer for the past 5 years. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":"0","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":"0","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":"0","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":"0","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":"0","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"1,4","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"1,4"}

I like to learn new skills and put my knowledge to good use within my work. I have always had a caring nature and believe working with people is most rewarding. My years of experience has taught me that when I see a person in need they are unique and they deserve respect, compassion and the potential that can be accessed if they are given the opportunity they deserve and not be put under any prejudice. I recognise that every person has the right to a normal pattern of life. false

I moved on into a care home setting and after completing my training and NVQ’s I was a Team Leader within 2 years. I worked my way up to deputy manager in a care home for the elderly with dementia. My last job was within a small team assisting a young lady of 25, who suffered a brain injury when she was 12, to live a full and fun filled life. I have an NVQ 2 & 3 in Health and Social Care and a Care Practitioner qualification in which I studied wound dressing, incontinence, dementia, safeguarding, physiological measurements and much more. I have been driving for over 30 years and I have my own car with a clean licence. My interests are travelling (I have the cruise bug), reading, movies/cinema, eating out, cooking and spending time with my family. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

BN22 8AB 66650 I shall be available in the East Sussex area as I am moving back to Eastbourne in early May. I am a Companion/Carer/Housekeeper and enjoy working with my clients and see myself as their 'enabler'. I feel rewarded when I have enabled my client to live a full and happy life. My background involved caring for many family members who lived with chronic health issues. My career was mainly in administration (in the NHS and Social Services) and I also gained a degree in my late 30s. I am also a qualified TESOL (Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages). I decided on a change of career six years ago as I considered I had the life skills and experience to offer support to elderly clients and their families. Some of my clients were all living with Alzheimer's. This environment can be demanding and challenging, but with empathy, resourcefulness and common sense I have succeeded in creating a calm environment for them to flourish within. Through an Alzheimer's Awareness course and extensive reading I continue to increase my knowledge regarding this condition. Above all, I would say I am continuingly learning from my clients. Everything I do is completely 'client centred' with the aim of maintaining dignity, agency and independence. I demonstrate initiative, am organised and reliable and like to think I have a warm and friendly nature. I work well within an integrated 'team', which usually consists of family members and health professionals. I am a competent cook and can adapt to any specific dietary requirements. In my spare time I enjoy writing (mainly short stories and poetry) and I have a great love of history, architecture and natural history (I am a member of the National Trust). I have good listening, communication and observational skills and I am well travelled. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

BN21 3DH 133240 As a compassionate and dedicated individual, I believe that my strong commitment to providing exceptional care, combined with my interpersonal skills and genuine empathy, make me a great fit for you. Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to helping others and making a positive impact on their lives. This desire led me to pursue a career in the healthcare field, where I could utilize my skills and qualities to improve the well-being of individuals in need. Having worked in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and rehabilitation centres, I have gained a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards involved in this profession. One of my core strengths is my ability to empathize with patients and their families. I truly believe that empathy is the foundation of providing holistic care. By putting myself in the shoes of those I assist, I am able to establish a connection based on understanding and trust. This not only enables me to address their physical needs but also helps me provide emotional support during difficult times. In addition to empathy, I possess exceptional communication skills. I can effectively communicate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team. Clear and concise communication is crucial for ensuring that everyone involved is well-informed, and that the best possible care is provided. I am comfortable adapting my communication style to suit individual needs and preferences, ensuring that information is conveyed accurately and compassionately. Furthermore, I am a highly organized individual with excellent time management skills. I understand the importance of adhering to schedules and maintaining a structured environment within a healthcare setting. I am a medical doctor in Peru and my husband is British. We moved to England in 2014 after we heard the news that my husband's mom was diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer's disease. We wanted her to stay in her home surrounded by family and people who loves her so Since June 2014 we looked after and gave love to my mother in law until August 2017 when she needed a home care because her care needs increased. I finished my studies in naturopathic nutrition in England and now I know what nutrition and lifestyle approaches that can be given with people who wants to prevent this disease as well people with early stages of dementia. Once mom when to a care home I was a live-in carer for 4 months for a lovely lady with dementia. Now, it is my time to start the process of getting my medical license in the UK which may take a year or so and in the meantime I would love to continue caring and giving love to people who needs me and studying for my licensing exam at the same time. Currently I work at in the NHS since May 2019 as a HCA, phlebotomist and Basic Life Support Trainer. I also volunteering with plant based groups to educate communities in a healthy eating to live a long happy life. In my spare time I enjoyed going for long runs in the seafront of the beautiful Brighton and going for hikes with my super fab husband. I also love reading, learning and watch movies. I am vegan, plant-based individual who never smoked or drank alcohol. I think if more people would focus in giving love and support who needs it, this world will be different. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}
