I have hands-on experience with stoma care, hoisting (both with ceiling tracks and manual), glide sheets, manual handling, repositioning, peg feeding, and pressure care.
At 60, I completed a degree in Animal Science, and I enjoy the company of companion animals, caring for them and ensuring their good welfare. I have also worked for Cats Protection, assisting with rehoming and home checks.
I have a happy disposition and enjoy looking through photo albums with my clients and discussing the past. I enjoy walking and visiting foreign destinations, and I maintain a positive outlook. Nothing really phases me in nursing and care, and I keep up with modern technology and medications, adhering to NHS guidelines.
I give 100% to my clients and engage them in activities such as baking, cooking, board games, Scrabble, and cards.

Revlynne looked after Jan for one or two afternoons or days a week for six months from February 2024 until January had to enter a care home as her needs exceeded our capacities. Revlynne provided much better care than I expected and hoped for (I did not really know what to expect!). Apart from all of the usual personal assistance, Revlynne stimulated her with games and activities, and took her out on occasion
