I have in particular enjoyed ...More I have worked as a Carer for the last 10 years also caring for my late grand mother who latterly suffered with dementia. During this time I have learnt a tremendous amount and added to my skill set. I have cared for the elderly along with people with special needs. I have in particular enjoyed working with older people as they have talked about history and their life experiences which I find fascinating. I like to clarify what my individual client needs are on a regular basis, as I find needs can change. I have experience in personal hygiene ,incontinence issues, , general housekeeping , I have good communication skills , I have enjoyed interactions with a variety of people with varying needs .I consider myself to be a practical person , I have learnt massage for relaxation which has been of benefit to clients, I am warm , willing , reliable and respectful. I Respect boundaries and confidentiality . I am always willing to learn and embrace new challenges . In my own time my interests are enjoying walks in nature, reading although this can at times be challenging , I have a gold fish pond with 7adults and 4 babies whom I enjoy . I am the mother of 2 young men who are both at university. Gaining their independence. I am blessed with ability to tune into my clients needs and wants. I have a passion for helping those in need that make real difference in their life. I have a good sense of humour.
