I have been in the caring industry for over 12+, my work has taken me around the UK.
My preference is to be in and around Sussex/Guildford which gives me the opportunity to be close to family, although I am happy to travel a little further.
I have worked in many different roles, each client is unique and everyone has a different care package, I have also worked with palliative care clients, although at times sad but, to give that care to clients in that time of need was a wonderful experience.
Prior to that, I cared for a lady for 5 years. We were very close and did everything for her, from personal care, cooking, driver, shopping, appointments, and much more.
She loved going out, and with the use of her mobility car, it gave her so much pleasure to socialise with family and friends, shopping, and all appointments.
I have cared for many wonderful people, all with different needs, and I am so grateful for the knowledge I have gained and the opportunity to travel extensively.
I promote dignity during personal care. I have the ability to be empathetic and compassionate towards my clients. I always try to encourage independence and ensure that I do not take over carrying out tasks for my clients, I support and encourage them to do as much for themselves as possible.
I am a happy, bubbly person and love to make my clients happy and laugh as I am always laughing. Life is short.
My hobbies and my likes are: Dancing, Ball Room, Ballet, Theatre, Tennis, Classical Music, Gardening, Gym, Animals, Swimming, Rugby, Long Walks, Garden Centres, Outings, Watching a good movie or live entertainment.
