I have great experience working as a Live-in Support Worker for over six years in England and Scotland. I have a clear understanding, supported by courses I have undertaken, in providing relevant care to the elderly and most vulnerable. These courses include, but are not limited to, Lone Working, Health and Safety at Work, Equality and Diversity, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Basic Life Support including CPR, and Safeguarding Children.
I am often referred to as a dedicated, honest, and organised individual, able to handle various situations, from simple to difficult, as they arise. I possess a caring and sensitive personality, as well as a genuine interest in helping others become more independent and live as dignified a life as possible. My approach is non-judgmental towards people of all ages and varying levels of ability. I am a keen learner and advocate for both my own and the company's advancement, so I am willing and eager to undertake any training that Carum Care deems necessary to ensure that I articulate my role effectively.
Currently, I am looking for nighttime work locally, covering either sleeping, waking, or part-time live-in shifts at the weekend. This is to work alongside my full-time job, where I work Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility due to remote working. I can also offer weekly live-in care during my annual leave, as displayed on my calendar.
