In addition to the above, I have six years of experience working with the elderly, particularly those with dementia and Parkinson's, helping them stay in their homes. I have also worked with children exhibiting challenging behaviours and autism. Through my many years of experience, I have accumulated various skills, applying a person-centred approach and working effectively as part of a team. I can assist with personal care, cooking, eating, and cleaning. I can also support administrative tasks that may require assistance. I became a carer after looking after my grandfather, who was very old and frail. I can work independently and thrive under pressure. With my experience, I understand that everyone is different, and it is crucial to follow policies and procedures. I provide live-in care, respite, overnight, and daily care.
