During my career I have worked with people with learning disabilities, mental health and elderly care. I have worked as a children's community nurse and also in residential homes. I am also a mum and daughter of elderly parents. I offer my professional and life skills to care for your loved ones as I would care for my own. During my 20 years with the NHS I worked with adults and children with challenging behaviour, mental health diagnosis, dementia and elderly care. I am available to work from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. I can work some time scales away from this schedule and bank Holidays, which can be discussed before care is agreed. I truly believe in people's individuality, confidentiality and above all offer dignity to the people that I care for. Having a good relationship with the people that I work with is very important to me and to providing bespoke care. I understand that having someone to come into your home can often feel daunting and I always do my best to make people feel at ease. Please make contact if you would like to chat and/or meet up to discuss either yours or a lived ones care.

Alison cared for my mother until she recently moved into a care home. The visits were mainly for company but Alison also provided practical help and took Mum for a weekly shop. Alison is a genuinely caring person and she is reliable and trustworthy. Her nursing background was very useful for advice on medical issues and she contacted me with any concerns. Alison puts people at ease and she has a lovely sense of humour – Mum is incredibly fond of her. I have no hesitation in recommending Alison.

Alison is Mums 1st permanent carer, and she is great. Not only does she help Mum, but they have become friends as well. I would definitely recommend her.

I cannot recommend Alison highly enough. She looked after my mother before she moved into a care home. Alison was totally reliable, thoroughly professional and really cared about looking after my mother's needs. With her background in medical care and professional expertise she offered far, far more than basic care and was able to consider the dietary, medication and mental needs of my mother. Alison always kept me informed of my mother's progress.
