I arrived in the UK in June 2020 at the start of the lockdown due to Covid, at the beginning of my caring career in the UK I initially worked as a live-in carer in the Oxford area for some months, after which I decided to change to domiciliary caring and at the same time moved to Walton on Thames from Bristol as I wanted to be close to my daughters, one of whom lives in Walton and the other in London. I was full time employed as a domiciliary Carer through an Agency in Ashford for about a year and a half which is where I did a large proportion of my training at the same time have enjoyed meeting many lovely clients, who at times were challenging but we ended up being good friends and we both looked forward to our regular visits. Since leaving the agency environment I changed to a more self-employed way of working in the domiciliary caring industry in and around Walton, Weybridge, and Cobham, though have found myself visiting and driving clients as far as Leatherhead and Croydon. I have many hobbies but most of all enjoy knitting for my grandchildren of whom I have two, walking my dog along the river and all the wonderful parks around our area, reading, cooking and my regular yoga practice.

Bronwyn has cared for me a few hours each week whilst I was recovering from Spine surgery assisting with showering, dressing and general care. She is caring, kind and competent and I looked forward to her visits

Bronwyn was a wonderful carer to my Mother, with dementia, and Father after he had a spell in hospital and came home with mobility issues. Very patient and kind with my mother especially and always worked with their needs as the primary concern.

Bronwyn is the kindest and loveliest person; she immediately puts anyone at ease with her caring nature. I’m so glad we found her!
