My interest in caring dates back to my high school, where I developed keen interest in caring and also ensuring that people’s needs are met. I worked and volunteered across a range of social service sector. I have got experience of working with vulnerable adults in the community supporting them with personal care, shopping, cooking of meals, medication support, companionship. I have got relevant knowledge of legislature safeguarding adults in the community. I am an excellent communicator proficient in verbal, non-verbal and written form of communication. I am also a good user of Information technology software such as Microsoft word, power point and excel. I am of the opinion that everyone has the right to equal opportunities regardless of their background, ethnic origin, or disabilities and I believe the society has a right to protect the interest of everyone and I am motivated in achieving best outcomes for clients. I have a comprehensive understanding of the various cultural, religious, racial, social and other issues related to various ethnic groups.
