I am currently working as a nursing care assistant. I really enjoy my role, as I like to make people smile and make a difference in their lives. I have over five years of experience. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, and watching movies. My hobbies include going to the gym and spending time with my family. I also enjoy meeting new people. I am a very hard-working individual with a friendly approach. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, socialising, watching movies, going to the gym, reading books, and voluntarily helping disabled family members. I am a good listener and enjoy hearing about people’s achievements, problems, or concerns. I try my best to provide them with emotional and physical support. I have experience caring for disabled adults in my family, particularly my grandmother, whom I cared for many years. She was very challenging, having no mobility and suffering from aggressive behavioural problems. I have also handled a sensitive case involving a family member and social services, where I provided support and worked with a social worker to achieve the best possible results. At present, my duties include: - Assisting residents with personal care - Assisting with feeding - Showering or bathing residents - Taking residents out - Manual handling - Hoisting - Encouraging residents to take part in activities - Looking after residents' well-being - Taking residents to medical appointments - Monitoring residents' health, low moods, and any changes in their condition.
