It taught me to be understanding, communicate better, stay calm in stressful situations, build structure whilst maintaining a routine and complete tasks in a timely manner. Some of my hobbies are cooking, going to the gym, carrying out DIY tasks and doing hairstyles. During my time at Technology College, I have gained an NVQ qualification in Health & Social Care L3. I also achieved a qualification in Customer Service L1, and later on completed the following courses, such as Life Support, Manual Handling, Infection Control, Fire Safety, Safe Guarding L1, Equality & Diversity, First Aid and Food Hygiene L2 I chose this career path because it is a rewarding job, it has flexible hours, I enjoy helping others and there are training opportunities to add to my qualifications. I feel I am a strong candidate due to my rich life experiences, helping me to apply the skills I've gained to be a carer as I am hard-working, punctual, reliable, easy going, qualified for the job and willing to gain more skills.
