I had this desire, during the Covid 19 pandemic to help and put something back into the villiage that I live in. I found out that there was a shortage of carers, so I chose to volunteer care support, because I like helping, and caring for people. I loved the job so much that I took up caring professionally. I worked in re-ablement care, where we look after clients who have just had a spell in hospital, we nurse these clients back to pre hospital health and fitness levels and in the process provide care and support for the clients. I am also a domiciliary carer, and have experience using most mobility aids.
I like to make care for fun for my clients, by making every day different, and by taking my clients out and about to improve their quality of life and I also ensure that my clients eat fresh, healthy and delicious meals everyday. I love cooking and can prepare lovely delicious meals.
I encourage my clients have as much independence as they would like and I let them take control of situations. I just fill in the gaps. I am extremely flexible, understanding and helpful and I will ensure my clients have a good time with me.
I am willing to take my clients out, to enable them have a super fulfilling life.
If you would like an informal chat with me, we can arrange that on the Curam platform. Thank you.
