I have been a carer for over 20years and a live in carer for 10 years. I am a family orientated person, a wife and mother of 3. I take pride in my work and endeavour to give the best care to my clients. calm. I understand the value of giving someone the best care possible in the comfort of their own home while maintaining their dignity, independence and respecting their space. I am willing to learn and can maintain calm in very difficult situations. Working as a live in carer for the past 10 years has taught me how to handle difficult and challenging situations in a calm and effective way. I have worked in some very demanding caring roles which included end of life & dementia care including very challenging behaviour. I understand the importance of maintaining professionalism in challenging situations. I love cooking and baking, being outdoors, travelling and reading especially legal dramas. I love hosting family gatherings, i’m a feeder and always want to make sure everybody is comfortable and well fed. I also enjoy watching crime scene investigation shows and quiz shows like the chase, tipping point and lingo. A day with me a carer would be client based. Having worked in different roles I can adjust to the needs of my clients. I am a very versatile person and love to explore. I prioritise things that make my clients comfortable, happy and the job easier and interesting. I love taking my clients out on walks, shopping and even on excursions for those who are able and interested, to help maintain a normal and intreating lifestyle for them. I very much look forward to providing my services where required.
