My hobbies are meeting people, playing volleyball, reading, cooking, spending time with family and watching rugby. I've been a carer for just over 12 years now. I've worked mainly in care homes, nursing homes, and community work. My work consists of continence care, support with medication administration, meal planning and preparation, help with chores, and support clients with day to day activities. I have worked with clients that have Dementia, COPD, Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, PEG feeding, Catheter care, Palliative care, and also stoma care. I've done my access to Nursing, Studied Access to Health, Wellbeing and Social Science in Edinburgh College. I am a good carer with empathy. I am able to connect with the client in order to be able to help them. I have a good understanding towards the emotions a client may face as they face new realities. My preference is for live-in positions, ideally 2 weeks on and 1 week off at a time, however this is flexible depending on clients needs and locations, but if these are not available then I am able to do days, nights, waking nights and sleepovers in local areas. I prefer to work for clients in Scotland, but wont mind if I have to travel further, again depending on what is available. I speak fluent English, I don't mind looking after pets. I already have a PVG certificate. I can provide references from previous clients if required.

Kasa, looked after my Mum for two weeks following Mums return home following a period in respite care. Mum is extremly difficult and Kasa couldn't have been more patient. She communicated well with me and I would highly recommend her.
