Other days usual rate. OFFERING RESPITE WORK rather than long term placement for foreseeable. I have 35 yrs plus experience in caring for people with different needs, in a variety of settings. I am looking for respite care opportunities covering carers breaks or extra care support needed as a transition from hospital back home. I also enjoy supporting people who need some support to live an independent, full and rich life. Also available for palliative care support. I have had previous experience in this area and appreciate the need for patience, calmness, kindness and flexibility. My primary aim has been to support people to remain living as comfortably and independently as possible at home, to enjoy life despite of challenges and ensuring the family members are also listened to and feel equally supported in collaboratively caring for their loved ones. I worked for a company that works with service users with Parkinson's for 5 yrs and I trained carers in understanding the particular needs of those living with this condition . I have supported people with dementia, anxiety and mental health issues, strokes, learning and physical disabilities, end of life and much more. For the past 7yrs I have been a self-employed carer working in the community. All my work has arrived through personal recommendations. Recently a client said of me " you are irreplaceable, there is only one Helen!" My care is of the highest standard and tailored to your needs. I am happy to arrange a meeting with you to discuss this in person before agreeing any shifts should that be of help? Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. Any questions you have please feel free to contact me and we can explore options together.

Excellent

Would highly recommend Helen, she is hands down one of the best carers we had for my dear dad. She came in to cover respite care, adapted amazingly to dad and her care was second to none. She’s a lovely, warm, caring, empathic lady who clearly has her clients needs at the forefront. Nothing was too much trouble and she was so calm in her approach. Sadly for us she’s fully booked but we do hope Helen has space to come back sometime soon. You will not be disappointed if you chose Helen ⭐️⭐️

Excellent

Helen looked after my farther-in-law at our wedding. She was reliable, kind, caring and efficient. She went about her duties. We would definitely use Helen again.
