I’m trustworthy and take pride in my work. I understand and respect confidentiality as well as individuals from all backgrounds. I believe that care is my calling, and making a difference in people’s lives brings me great joy!
I have 12 years of experience in various areas of care, including hospital, community, and residential settings. I have experience in providing support for children and adults with learning disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer’s, challenging behaviour, mental health issues, and autism.
I am always happy to learn new skills. I can cope and work under pressure and am easily adaptable to change.
I previously worked for Bristol City Council as a Health Care Support Worker, supporting elderly people with late-stage dementia and Alzheimer’s to gain independence and mobility in their residential homes from 2018 to 2019.
I worked for the NHS as an ICU-trained Nursing Assistant from 2014 to 2018.
I also worked for the British Red Cross as a Casual Discharge Service Assistant, transporting service users/patients from the hospital and resettling them at home while providing emotional support and companionship. I am also wheelchair trained by the Red Cross, from 2015 to 2017.
I worked as a Community Care Support Worker, assisting young adults with learning disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer’s, mental health issues, autism, and providing palliative care (end of life) in their own homes from 2012 to the present.
I am willing to travel up to 10 miles from the BS10 postcode. I do drive, have a valid clean driving licence, and have access to a car.
My short notice hourly rate is £35 from Monday to Saturday.
Bank holiday and Christmas rates are £35 per hour.
Travel expenses are charged separately at £0.50 per mile from my postcode to the client's address. This is paid by clients separately from my hourly rates in cash or by bank transfer, according to the client's preference.
