Proven success leading interdisciplinary teams to achieve clinical objectives while assuring complete adherence to all standards and best practices. I continually strive to better the lives of the vulnerable and keenly support them in their day to day routine including introducing hobbies and interests of mine that similarly resonate with those of the client. Listening to a wide spectrum of music, reading classics which generates points of discussion, reminiscing with client interests in their travels, taking clients on outings and enjoying the outdoors weather providing. I have extensive experience in various disciplines of care from managing a nursing home, establishing a rehabilitation hospital (sub-acute) to personal care as a live-in carer and a specialist care companion. Taking care of the elderly is dear to my heart and hence my desire to continue with my studies. Currently I am doing my NVQ5 through City of Guilds and have other points of interest that I am pursuing in obtaining further qualifications in palliative care and risk assessment. I have obtained various qualifications in alternative medicine including diplomas for: Reflexology, Iridology, Anatomy and Physiology, Massage and have completed certificates in various care related online courses through numerous universities. My passion in caring for the elderly drives me to improve my knowledge thereby providing a service which ensures the clients retention of dignity and independence and allows them to feel enabled, safe, comfortable and respected. I have access to a car and a valid British driving license. I am able to travel to areas within a 8 mile radius from Salisbury centre. I have a DBS certificate which can be viewed on the online service. I am an animal lover and have no reservations in looking after pets. I have years of experience in Peg feeding, Catheter care and Stoma care and am looking to do a refresher course in the UK. I am also able to offer Reflexology and Massage on a private basis.
