I am patient, humble, honest, easy going and have a very good sense of humour. I am a good cook, I encourage trust and ensure that the client's dignity is maintained at all times. I also have qualification in NVQ Level 3 and Diploma in nursing and Patient Care and I have experience in showering, bathing, strip wash, dressing, undressing, feeding, peg feed, stoma, toileting, hoisting, moving and handling, medication, cooking, cleaning and shopping. I have interests in tennis, football, music, shopping, a bit of gardening and also being able to give a client the support the need to live a day that allows you to see the results of your hard work. I empathise and connect with the client to understand the emotions an elderly person may be struggling with as they face new realities. And to put a smile on the face of the client makes me enjoy the work.
And also no dogs due to past experience and I don't drive but am looking into that soon.
