I started my career working in several care homes, and I also did 5 years in a daycare centre in Glasgow. In the last 10 years, I have worked as a live-in carer. I worked with clients who have different conditions such as Dementia, Parkinson, Diabetes and many more. I am passionate about my work and would like to continue looking after people in their own homes as it is very important that they maintain independence and they are happy in their own environment that they are familiar with. I feel that the job I do is very rewarding and gives me loads of satisfaction. I'm a very easygoing and patient person treating people with respect. I adapt quickly to the persons lifestyle and their likes and dislikes. In my free time I like to travel to new places, especially in North Scotland. I like walking and cycling. I love cooking traditional and nutricious meals. Also, baking has been my passion for a long time , thanks to my gran, who was a fantastic cook and taught me a lot. I've been told on several occasions that my cakes, a specially carrot cake, are delicious. I love animals and have a cat myself her name is Mia, and she loves cuddles. So if you do have any animals I will be very happy to help you look after them. I'm looking for night work and live in care in the area of Glasgow, Kilsyth, Falkirk, Stirling. I'm available 7 days a week and willing to take on 4 -5 days per week. I would also consider taking on daytime visits in close areas of Kilsyth.
