I've also been a care coordinator, visiting clients in their own home to see what their requirements are. before becoming a care coordinator I was a carer giving support to adults in their home, providing support for personal care, medication support, domestic duties, catheter care, stoma care and also hoisting using manual hoist, ceiling hoist and a standing hoist. I have always worked in domiciliary settings. I enjoy doing my job as I can go home knowing that I have made a difference to someone's life and I love helping people as much as I can. In my spare time I enjoy genealogy and have been tracing my family tree for over 30 years now. I don't get a lot of spare time as I also have 3 cats and 2 dogs that keep me pretty busy. both my dogs are rescue, April I have had since she was 18 months old and she is now 13 years old and Jack who I have only had since December 2023 as his owner passed away and no one else wanted him so what else could I do? he's 10 years old.
