I have also completed dementia friends workshop, updated manual handling and first-aid . Working a activities coordinator in a home that caters for residents mainly with dementia but also with physical and .mental impairment. I was responsible for Planning and facilitating stimulating activities, promoting independence and choice to suit the different needs and interests of the residents, organising activities for groups of people with a variety of needs I was also responsible for accompanying residents on day trips, hospital appointments and excursions. Able to demonstrate evidence i work in person centred care way when working as a rehabilitation support worker where i also passed course on manual handling, first aid, food hygiene, Whilst working as a support worker for Aster Care and support for clients to remain in their own homes following their own personalised support plan, promoting self care and self management allowing autonomy and choice. To achieve a maximum level of independence and stepping down the level of support in line with individual needs. Whilst working for Aster Living I had my own round of clients which ranged from early onset dementia, challenging behaviour, psychical care and emotional support, medical prompts, hoist and moving and handling to shopping and nutritional support.
I completed Aster Academy training in which I gained certificates in Moving and Handling- Person Centred Support- Environmental Management Systems- Infection Control- Nutrition Training- Medication, Catheter and Stoma Awareness- Safeguarding Adults- First Aid learning and Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering. I have recently completed the care certificate, first aid at work, and moving, handling and wheelchair

Lisa has been supporting my father for six weeks and has been truly wonderful. She is warm, reliable and uplifting, offering companionship and gentle prompts with medication and personal care while always preserving his dignity. He is noticeably more settled and genuinely looks forward to her visits. Lisa brings real kindness and professionalism — I would wholeheartedly recommend her.

Lisa is very friendly and patient with my mum and they enjoy playing games, going for a walk, a chat and watching some TV together
