I am very experienced as a carer and would claim to have been exposed to most conditions people live with. I have worked for many years with agencies and would go to different settings like hospitals nursing, residential and private people's homes. I have nearly 9years experience as a live in carer during which I have looked after the elderly going up to 104 years of age. I have looked after couples.I have very good communication skills on paper and verbally. I work well with other agencies should they be needed. I am observant and know when to call for help. I make differences in the lives of who I am looking after and that makes me happy. I like to cook, I enjoy feeding those who can not manage. I like to learn new things. good companionship provider and I am a good, active listener. I like reading and can enjoy watching some films. I have NVQ 3 and a Higher certificate in Health and social care. I take up mandatory training as required.
