    I am a 40-year-old Greek lady who has been living in the UK since 2010. I became involved in the healthcare sector in 2013 when my best friend had a motor accident and has been paralysed since then. I have tried my hand in various care environments, including live-in care roles and domiciliary care ...More I am a 40-year-old Greek lady who has been living in the UK since 2010. I became involved in the healthcare sector in 2013 when my best friend had a motor accident and has been paralysed since then. I have tried my hand in various care environments, including live-in care roles and domiciliary care roles. Since 2019, I have been working in a hospital as a healthcare assistant. In 2023, I started my nursing degree, but unfortunately, the hospital could not offer me any flexibility. Therefore, I am currently working as bank staff and as a private carer, which allows me to attend university as well. I have experience in dementia, Parkinson's disease, spinal and brain injuries, and end-of-life care, among other areas.
