I have worked with individuals with different conditions and unique support needs that include, critical and complex care - tracheostomy, cough assist, PEG, learning difficulty (mild to profound learning disability), stroke, autism, rehabilitation from long stay in hospital, mental health, challenging and aggressive behaviour. I am qualified and can work with children, young adults as well as the elderly. Aside from being empathetic with passion to help, I have also acquired skills that have been effectively used to support vulnerable individuals live more independent, productive and balanced lives. I am organised with the ability to work independently, as part of a team as well as with other partnerships. I am an active listener, can communicate clearly and effectively with excellent written, numerate, oral and reporting skills. I am also doing a postgraduate research course, M.Sc Social Care Health & Wellbeing with focus on mental health.
