My experience includes care at home, residential children’s services, respite care, and supporting individuals with complex disabilities in their own homes. I hold a BA (Hons) in Social Work and an HNC in Counselling, and I’m fully PVG-checked and registered with the SSSC.
Over the years I’ve supported people with cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, behaviours that challenge and individuals needing emotional, social, or practical support. I provide personal care, companionship, community support, medication assistance, and day-to-day living support with dignity, patience, and a calm, steady approach.
Care is something I genuinely enjoy. I like getting to know the people I support, building trust, and helping them stay comfortable and independent in their own homes. I believe great care is built on communication, consistency and respect, and I always aim to bring a positive, professional energy into every visit.
My background gives me strong skills in safeguarding, de-escalation, TCI/POB, record-keeping, and person-centred planning. Whether I’m supporting someone with daily routines or providing social companionship, my focus is always on creating a safe, supportive environment where the person feels valued and understood.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family, and keeping active. I’m down-to-earth, reliable, and easy to talk to, and I take pride in delivering high-quality care that suits each individual’s needs and preferences.
