I specialise with Alzheimer’s, dementia, semi-blind, arthritis, learning disability and difficulty, cancer, and Parkinson's disease. I have helped my clients manage their day to day activities including housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, shopping, and companionship. I like to have good conversations with my clients and building a strong relationship with them and their family members. I am a patient person and can react promptly with the best intentions for my clients. I have considerable experience of: Catheter - changing and emptying the bags. Stoma care - changing and cleaning around the area. Peg Feeding - have worked with a client who had peg. Assisting in the implementation of Care plans. Maintaining the comfort and dignity of clients at all times. Hoisting clients onto beds, chairs, commodes, etc. Administering Medication Arranging and accompanying clients to hospital appointments and social activities. Helping clients to wash, dress and undress. Cooking and light domestic duties. Having worked as a Live-in carer with large agencies and private clients, I am fully aware of how important it is to maintain the comfort and dignity of clients. My hobbies are Church activities, Cooking, gardening, Going for walks, Listening to music, Shopping, Television, Traveling. I’m looking for a regular client on a 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota, depending on location. I ask that travel expenses are covered and that I receive my 2-hour daily break. I’m happy to travel anywhere in the UK by public transport. A group Insurance Policy in place for Ecare Group, which also covers the Legal Liability of carers.
Up to 1,000,000 covering claims against you if you have accidentally caused Bodily Injury or Damage to Property.
Up to 1,000,000 covering claims made against you for Professional Negligence in your role as a carer.
Where necessary the Insurer will appoint legal counsel to defend claims made against you under either of the above Liability sections.
