I have much experience in providing personal care for elderly people with dementia and physical disabilities. Furthermore, I am more than capable in providing safe levels of care. I am confident and knowledgeable when it comes to operating all of the lifting equipment e.g. Full body hoist, Standing hoist, Ceiling Hoist, frame, wheelchair, and many others. I consider myself as a person who is consistently courteous. Every day without failure, I give to my clients the opportunity to choose what it is that they would like to do, so that I know they will be satisfied, and because it is the equitable thing to do. Respect, approbation, dignity, promote independence. That is my perspective of my work with them, always respecting their wishes, because the most important thing is to make an efficacious impact in their daily lives. I also have experience in fluid and nutrition, basic life support, catheter care, challenging behaviour, patience with diabetes, dementia, food hygiene and safety catering, COSHH. Additionally, I have had personal experience for 21 years because of my disabled twin sons. One has a physical disability that requires the use of a wheelchair due to his quadriplegia, and the other has autism and a behavioural disorder. They are the reason I love this job, because they have impacted my life in a way that has given me the yearning to help others that cannot help themselves. Areas that I cover are: Walton on Thames, Weybridge, Esher, Hersham, Molesey, Hampton court.
