I went to school at Tennyson Hlabangana High School, which was a boarding school. l enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.l have lived in Scotland since 1998, l am fluent in English, l speak 6 other southern African languages. l am always willing to learn. l am a very compassionate caring and loving person. l enjoy cooking reading all kinds of books, l love gardening walking, l love dogs, cats all kinds of pets except snakes. l believe in looking after the elderly and vulnerable people giving the best quality of life. The elderly have so much knowledge and wisdom. l believe in one to one care as it promotes independence. I have 0”levels, l have been a senior carer in nursing homes in Dumfries, Lockerbie and Annan and within the local community. l grew up in a caring environment as my mother was a nurse in Zimbabwe l always helped around the clinic all my childhood. I have done moving and handling ,first aid ,medication administering .I have completed part of an NVQ but did not finish food and hygiene .l am a very patient person at the present min l am doing a live in position caring for an elderly gentleman, but I am available to work as and when required.
