Throughout my career, I have supported adults and young people with a wide range of physical, mental health, challenging behaviours, learning disability, autism, and complex emotional needs. I am an advocate for always promoting dignity, independence, and person-centred care. I have hands-on experience supporting individuals with medication administration, activities of daily living, community access, emotional support, behaviour management, rehabilitation, and promoting independence. Alongside direct care, I have extensive experience in safeguarding, risk assessments, incident management, care planning, record keeping, and working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve positive outcomes. I currently work as a Senior Support Worker and Shift Leader in an Ofsted-regulated children’s home, where I lead shifts, support colleagues, respond to safeguarding concerns, and ensure high standards of care are maintained. Prior to this, I worked within adult social care as a Field Care Supervisor, supporting service users with a variety of complex needs while maintaining compliance with CQC standards. I am calm, reliable, approachable, and adaptable, and I enjoy building positive relationships with the people I support. Whether it’s providing companionship, assisting with daily routines, supporting someone to access the community, or simply being a reassuring presence, I take pride in delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, going for walks, and spending time outdoors.
