My name is Carmen and I am an experienced Care Assistant having worked in a Childrens Hospital for 6 months as a part of my practice when i get my diploma. Now I work as a live in carer. I worked 14 months at the Hospital in I.C.U.( intensive care unit). I also worked one year in a Nursing Centre with people with different conditions and needs, and also complex care( PEG feeding,cancer,stoma care,ileostoma,urinary catheter,etc. I have experience in dementia care. I love pets (I was a volunteer for 7 years at a veterinary clinic but not only,i have my own dogs and a cat). I'm not a smoker, I do not drink any alcohol, I love kids.I cook fresh meals daily. I'm a happy person, always smiling. I love life. I want to help people to enjoy their life with dignity giving them the respect they deserve. I'm able to work providing my skills and to adapt to a specific environment. I easily interact with patients and their family( including their pets). I'm kind and caring and a good listener. Carmen is very experienced and knowledgeable. She genuinely cared about my mother's health and recovery. In addition to attending to her personal care very well, she also cooked homemade nutritious food and encouraged her to exercise.
