Through my healthcare experience and clinical placements in mental health, neuropsychiatric rehabilitation and acute hospital settings, I have developed strong communication skills, patience and a good understanding of person-centred care. I believe I would make a great Carer because I treat people with dignity, respect and kindness. I am calm, attentive and able to support people with their daily routines while encouraging independence where possible. A day with me as a Carer would be safe, organised and reassuring, whether I am helping with personal care, meals, mobility, companionship or emotional support. My experience has taught me the importance of listening, building trust and adapting my approach to each person’s needs. I understand that some clients may feel anxious, vulnerable or frustrated, so I always aim to be patient, respectful and supportive. I have a particular interest in supporting adults with mental health needs, neurological conditions, frailty, reduced mobility and cognitive difficulties. I am dependable, compassionate and committed to making people feel safe, valued and cared for.
