I have now been qualified for 14 years as a Registered Adult Nurse which proves my dedication, commitment, compassion and caring attitude. I have excellent communication skills and record keeping abilities. I am also a Christian and maintain my values hence I treat everyone as l would like to be treated myself. I have the ability to care and administer medication to people with various medical and mental health conditions including learning disabilities. I love travelling, shopping, reading, dancing and listening to different types of music especially country and gospel music. I abide by the NMC code of conduct and maintain professional relationships with all my clients including their families. I treat everyone with dignity and respect always gaining consent before any intervention or interactions as well as treatments. I am happy to do personal care, feeding, cooking and housekeeping duties. Nutrition is key and I am able to look after patients who rely on PEG feeds and other enteral feeding for survival. I work with integrity and use evidence based methods paying attention to detail. I also empathise with my patients and will always engage critically thinking in all my decisions with the best interests of patients at heart. An effective communicator in both verbally and written skills. Naturally I am an advocate for all the vulnerable in my care and throughout my career I have had safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children training which enables me to spot a form of abuse and act accordingly. I have commendable time management skills and always remain calm under pressure. I can offer my services for clients for day shifts, sleeping and waking or for live up until the end of August. My rates currently are advertised as a HCA, if my nursing skills are required my rates will increase, this can be discussed during the interview process with my future clients.
