I hold a Joint Honours degree in Economic and Social Policy/Religious Studies and have also completed a two-year Business Studies course. I worked for East Sussex Social Services in Child Protection, having previously worked with adults with learning difficulties and other disabilities. In later years, I worked as a Community Carer, and for the past three years, I have been self-employed, with the majority of my work being Live-In Care. I am passionate about providing a high standard of care to my clients and assisting them in leading as full and enjoyable lives as possible. I am a good listener and am genuinely interested in other people's experiences in life. I am highly organised but, at the same time, respect that different clients have their own way of doing things. I am fully qualified and hold a current Enhanced DBS, held on the National Database. I love all animals and have extensive experience in caring for a variety! I am also a qualified Swedish Massage Holistic Therapist and have trained in Reflexology. I love nature and the outdoors, travel, music, theatre, and photography.
