I spent most of my career working as a Community Nurse in the NHS and I have also been employed by the Marie Curie Nursing Organisation. Since 2015 I’ve worked in local Nursing Homes where I’ve be able to use my extensive nursing experience to improve the lives of the residents. I especially like providing care and companionship for the older person. Prior to my nursing career I was employed as a Personal Assistant. I had full responsibility for the smooth running of the office, directly responsible to the Director, who incidentally was Registered Blind. I am experienced in all administrative tasks. I’ve been told that I am a calm presence in an emergency- don’t always feel calm; I’m friendly and easy to get along with and I like helping others.
