I initially worked in care supporting different types of people with their daily needs, which helped me develop strong communication, patience, and empathy skills. Supporting vulnerable individuals gave me a sense of purpose and fulfilment, as I enjoy making a positive difference in people’s lives.
During a period when I was exploring other career opportunities, I completed courses in cybersecurity and a Diploma in Digital Skills. These courses helped me develop valuable skills such as problem-solving, attention to detail, and responsibility. Although I gained useful knowledge from studying in the IT field, due to personal circumstances I have decided to return to the care sector, which is where my passion truly lies.
My previous experience in care has given me a good understanding of how to support people with dignity, respect, and patience. I am comfortable assisting individuals with daily living activities, offering emotional support, and ensuring their wellbeing and safety at all times. My background in care, combined with the additional skills I have gained through further education, has helped me become more organised, responsible, and adaptable.
I am now eager to return to the care field where I can use my experience and skills to support those who need help the most. I am committed to providing high-quality care and building positive relationships with the people I support, their families, and my colleagues. I am a hardworking and reliable person who is always willing to learn and improve my skills.
Working in care is not just a job for me; it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day.
