Reliable. Organised. I am an experienced carer with over 10 years of supporting people in their own homes. I hold a degree in Health and Social Care, which has strengthened my knowledge, skills, and understanding of providing safe, person-centred care alongside the practical experience I have gained working in care for more than 10 years. I take time to understand each person’s needs, routines, and preferences so I can provide respectful support that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and independent. I have supported elderly clients and individuals living with dementia at all stages, Parkinson’s disease, autism, epilepsy, limited mobility, post-hospitalization recovery, and those requiring stoma and incontinence care. I also have experience providing sensitive and supportive end-of-life care. I am confident with personal care, medication support, mobility assistance, meal preparation, companionship, housekeeping and maintaining a clean and well-organised home environment. I enjoy helping people maintain their independence while ensuring they feel valued and respected. I hold an enhanced DBS, and I am registered on the Update Service. I am available for hourly visits and overnight care. I chose to work in care because I am naturally empathetic, and I truly enjoy helping others. Supporting people through their daily routines and building trusting relationships gives me real satisfaction. Families often describe me as reliable, positive, and organised. I work calmly, listen carefully, and always follow the client’s pace and preferences. Outside of work I enjoy music, cooking, reading, solving crosswords, and going for walks. I am a good cook, and I take pride in keeping living spaces clean, safe, and organised. Please get in touch if you feel I could support you or your loved one—I would be happy to help.
