I am experienced and confident in supporting clients living with Dementia who require assistance and motivation with all personal care tasks, which include washing, dressing, eating and toileting. I happily perform light housekeeping tasks, such as keeping my client's bedroom clean, and changing bed linen. I can assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of my clients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout. I accompany clients to medical appointments, if and when required. I observe, monitor and record clients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff. I strongly promote independence and encourage clients to participate in social and recreational activities. I'm highly patient and a very strong listener who enjoys working closely with others. I love meeting people from different cultures and learning about their lives. I'm a huge support for not only my clients, but for their home and family members also.
