I understand everyone's needs are unique and tailor my approach to each person . When I'm not caring, I love cooking and watching films based on real life.I am Compassionate and dedicated care professional with a background in nursing (2012-2014) and social work (2014-2018). With over 14 years experience as a Bank Healthcare Assistant with Nottinghamshire NHS Foundation Trust, I've supported people with mental health needs, in hospitals, and in end-of-life care with Nottinghamshire Hospice (2023-2024). I also worked in children's social work, part of the MASH duty team, from April 2019 to August 2023, supporting vulnerable children and families. Currently, I work as a live-in carer for other care agencies (full-time since 2021), providing personalised support to individuals with dignity and respect. I believe in treating each person as unique, listening to their needs, and showing compassion in every interaction . Families value my caring nature, empathy, and ability to work with minimal supervision - I've had repeat requests and zero complaints. I go the extra mile, like visiting hospitalised clients to offer a familiar face. I'm a confident cook (especially English food ), communicator, and I prioritise respect and dignity in all care. My rates may increase or decrease depending on the level of care that is required by my clients, this can be discussed during the interview process. Public holidays will be charged at double time. I prefer longer periods of care anything form 2-12 weeks. I am happy to travel throughout the UK including Scotland and Northern Ireland as long as travelling expenses are covered both by my clients.
