I approach my role with patience, empathy, and professionalism, ensuring that each person I support feels valued, safe, and understood. I am attentive to detail and responsive to changes in behaviour, mood, or wellbeing, allowing me to adapt my support effectively. I understand that care is not only about meeting physical needs but also about offering emotional reassurance and building trust through consistent, respectful interactions. I work calmly under pressure and remain patient in challenging situations, recognising that everyone has different needs and ways of communicating. I am committed to maintaining dignity at all times by respecting personal choices, privacy, and routines. Caring can be demanding, but I am resilient and motivated by making a positive difference in people’s lives. I regularly reflect on my practice to improve my skills and ensure the highest standard of care. I take my responsibilities seriously and strive to provide support that enhances comfort, confidence, and quality of life. I am looking for an additional 20 hours per week where I can provide 2 nights per week of 10 hour shifts each night to work alongside my current rota which I get 1/2 weeks in advance.
