I have always been drawn to supporting others — whether through a kind word, a calm presence, or simply being there when someone needs help. Kindness, loyalty and honesty guide the way I work, and caring feels very natural to me. I genuinely enjoy supporting people to feel listened to, respected and comfortable in their own homes.
As both a qualified Chinese medicine practitioner and an independent carer, I bring a deeper understanding of how physical health, emotional wellbeing and daily routine work together. My background in acupuncture and holistic health allows me to notice small but important changes and to support clients in a calm, balanced and intuitive way.
I am an accredited member of the National Association of Care & Support Workers (NACAS), which reflects my commitment to professional standards, ethical practice, ongoing learning and safe, high-quality care. I am fully insured, DBS-checked and trained in First Aid and infection prevention.
As a mother of two, I understand how deeply families want their loved ones to be treated with patience, dignity and respect. When families trust me to support someone close to them, I take that responsibility seriously. I see each person as an individual with their own story, preferences and needs — never just a client on a list.
I provide fully bespoke, one-to-one care tailored to each person. My services include personal care (washing, dressing and toileting), domestic support (cooking, cleaning, laundry and shopping), medication prompts, companionship and emotional support. I also offer convalescence care following illness or surgery, assistance with non-clinical medical tasks such as applying creams or dressings, and support with daily routines to help clients regain strength, mobility and confidence.
Alongside practical care, I offer a steady, calm presence, clear communication and genuine respect for the person behind the care needs. Families value my experience with complex care, my holistic perspective and my commitment to protecting dignity, independence and comfort at every stage.
