My caring journey began supporting my elderly uncle who lived with dementia, where I provided daily assistance, emotional support, assisted with personal care, routines, and maintaining dignity. This experience strengthened my understanding of dementia care, patience, and the importance of consistency and trust. Following this, I worked for Meloosha Homecare from May 2024 to January 2026, delivering care to clients with a range of needs. My role included personal care, medication support, companionship, mobility assistance, housekeeping and promoting independence while ensuring safety and comfort. I pride myself on building strong, respectful relationships with clients and their families, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering care with empathy and professionalism at all times. I am passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives, supporting them to live with dignity in their own homes, and providing care that is compassionate.
