Through this experience, I knew early on that I wanted to work in care and support others with different needs to live fulfilled and meaningful lives. My first professional support role was working with young adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. I found the role incredibly rewarding and gained a strong sense of satisfaction from making a genuine difference in people’s lives. Since then, I have gone on to work in mental health and elderly care, further developing my skills and understanding across different care settings. I am passionate about making a positive impact, supporting individuals to maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Helping others and seeing the difference that care and support can make is something I find deeply fulfilling and is what continues to motivate me in my work
