My goal in every role is to provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing. I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, a Level 3 Diploma in Mental Health, and have successfully completed the Care Certificate Standards (1–16). I have also undertaken additional training, including PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression), Basic Life Support (BLS), and safeguarding, which have equipped me with the practical and theoretical knowledge needed to provide safe, responsive, and compassionate care. Over the past few years, I have supported individuals with a wide range of needs, including learning disabilities, dementia, autism, acquired brain injury, and mental health challenges. My responsibilities have included personal care, medication support, meal preparation, companionship, mobility assistance, and community engagement. I am also confident carrying out health observations, maintaining accurate records, and following detailed care plans to ensure consistency and safety. In my roles, I have worked both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with nurses, social workers, and families to deliver holistic, high-quality support. I am known for my reliability, empathy, and calm approach in challenging situations. I take pride in listening carefully, communicating clearly, and building trust with the people I support and their loved ones. I am deeply motivated by the values of compassion, respect, and equality. For me, care work is not just about completing tasks, but about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives — helping them feel valued, understood, and supported to achieve their goals. I would welcome the opportunity to bring my skills, experience, and caring nature to your team and to continue making a positive impact in the lives of others.
