I have several years of dedicated experience as a Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker, including roles in a Mental health hospital as agency staff my roles and responsibilities include providing care and supporting vulnerable individuals with daily care. I worked in elderly home at Sunwood House where I provide holistic care and support to the aged, I worked in the community where I provide in-house care and support to the elderly in their respective homes and I currently work with children with learning disabilities and special needs living in a care home. I provide nurturing environment for the children where they feel safe and comfortable to live as their home away from home. I support them with their daily routine and activities, promote independence and build trust and confidence for development. Over the years, I have cultivated a deep and empathetic understanding of Holistic and person centered care for service user both young and old. My experience within various sectors as a carer specifically working with children with special needs has not only refined my practical skills but has also improved my passion to care and be able to provide emotional support during difficult times. I am compassionate about providing care to those navigating mental health challenges. I am confident that my background and unwavering dedication make me a strong candidate for this role. In my current role as a Team Leader in Ashford Children care where I provide person centered care for children facing a spectrum of mental health issues, including ADHD, Autism, and challenging behaviors in a residential care home care in Ashford Surrey. This experience has provided me with invaluable insight into the diverse needs of individuals requiring mental health support and the importance of tailored care approaches. Previously, as a support worker working with Gary Care Limited where I support a 21 years old adult who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Schizophrenia, and Anxiety Disorder. This role requires patient and skills to be able to deescalate behaviour, use of team teach training as a last resort only when necessary to protect and safeguard the young person and his surroundings when having a meltdown which honed my ability to remain calm and effective under pressure while providing critical support to patients in distress. Throughout my career, I have been responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including closely monitoring patients’ well-being, assisting with daily living activities, and providing vital emotional and psychological support to patients and their families. I understand the significance of fostering a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment to promote well-being and prevent triggers. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, I am committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. My skills include establishing trusting relationships with patients, conducting investigations such as ECGs, and strictly adhering to infection control policies. I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges and am committed to upholding the highest standards of care. I am confident that my skills, experience, and genuine dedication make me an ideal candidate for this role. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to further discuss my capabilities and contribute to your team's commitment to providing exceptional care and support.
