I have a background in IT however, I left that industry to join Care which I find rewarding since you can make a difference in people’s lives. I have studied Radiotherapy and Oncology but didn’t finish the course due to reasons that were beyond my control. Based on my experience in care so far, I believe I am a friendly, empathetic and caring person. My previous clients have expressed that I am a good person, ever smiling and would love to continue working with me. These comments have made me feel very confident in what I do and have made me very compassionate about my job. I am open to new challenges, willing to learn and respond well to any constructive criticism. I have worked with different clients including young adults with learning disabilities, mild mental health issues, the elderly including those with Alzheimer’s and early stage dementia. I have worked in care homes, supported living homes and live in in people’s houses. I believe I can bring a difference in people’s lives and add a smile even in difficult circumstances. My hobbies include watching movies, sport, travelling, listening to music among other things.
