In the past I have worked in different fast paced environments including theatre and catering which have required stamina, practical problem solving and thinking on your feet as well as house keeping skills of cooking, cleaning washing and ironing (as a wardrobe mistress) Whilst working as a home carer I have gained valuable experience and training in practical skills of manual handling , personal care and accurate record keeping all within a tight time schedule. I consider myself to be discreet , flexible and kind with an open mind and though I love a chat am fairly quiet in temperament. I take direction well and can also work under my own initiative doing what needs to be done . Outside of work I am interested in the natural world and the benefits of connecting with it, nutrition and the role food plays in keeping us well and nurturing us at different times of life.
