I am British by birth, but my father is from Punjab, India, and I grew up in the Black Country in Wolverhampton. I moved to London 15 years ago, so my Brummie accent is minimal! I am fluent in Punjabi and can also read and write Punjabi. I’m 40 and have two sons aged 8 and 11. We have recently moved to Sunninghill as my son is due to start secondary school in September, and this is a lovely area for families and children! I have a full-time job as a project manager, where I work from home a lot, but I have been doing care work part-time for the last few years. As someone who grew up with grandparents and helped care for them in their old age, I do miss having company from elders, so care work for me is very rewarding. I am warm, friendly and compassionate. My son tells me I should get an award for ‘being the most patient’! My availability is often evenings and weekends, but some early mornings and occasional nights are possible too.
