I have over 6.5 years of experience in the care sector, providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with a range of complex health needs. I’m passionate about helping people live as independently and comfortably as possible. I take pride in being patient, dependable, and someone my clients and their families can trust. I have extensive experience caring for individuals with spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), and those recovering from stroke. I am confident and trained in: • Stoma care and catheter care • Bowel management, including manual evacuation where needed • Mobility assistance, including safe use of hoists and transfer aids • Personal care, hygiene, toileting, and grooming • Medication administration and monitoring • Meal preparation, feeding support, and maintaining special diets • Supporting rehabilitation and working alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists • Companionship and emotional support, particularly for clients facing long-term conditions or life transitions I’ve also worked with clients who have dementia, physical disabilities, children with complex needs, and provided end-of-life and respite care. I became a carer after supporting a close family member through illness. That experience changed my perspective and made me realise how rewarding it is to care for others. Since then, I’ve built a strong career in care and continue to find joy and purpose in supporting others through compassion and practical help. I’m a warm, friendly person who enjoys getting to know people and making their day easier and more enjoyable. Outside of work, I’m a mum and currently studying for a degree in Business and Management. I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my daughter. I also hold a provisional driving licence and am actively working toward my full licence to enhance the support I can provide. I am available for placements of 2–4 weeks with one week off.
