I have over 6.5 years of experience in the care sector, providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with a range of complex health needs. I’m passionate about helping people live as independently and comfortably as possible. I take pride in being patient, dependable, and someone my clients and their families can trust. I have extensive experience caring for individuals with spinal cord injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), and those recovering from stroke. I am confident and trained in: • Stoma care and catheter care • Bowel management, including manual evacuation where needed • Mobility assistance, including safe use of hoists and transfer aids • Personal care, hygiene, toileting, and grooming • Medication administration and monitoring • Meal preparation, feeding support, and maintaining special diets • Supporting rehabilitation and working alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists • Companionship and emotional support, particularly for clients facing long-term conditions or life transitions I’ve also worked with clients who have dementia, physical disabilities, children with complex needs, and provided end-of-life and respite care. I became a carer after supporting a close family member through illness. That experience changed my perspective and made me realise how rewarding it is to care for others. Since then, I’ve built a strong career in care and continue to find joy and purpose in supporting others through compassion and practical help. I’m a warm, friendly person who enjoys getting to know people and making their day easier and more enjoyable. Outside of work, I’m a mum and currently studying for a degree in Business and Management. I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my daughter. I also hold a provisional driving licence and am actively working toward my full licence to enhance the support I can provide. I am available for placements of 2–4 weeks with one week off. During my off days, I am also available to cover sleep-in nights. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I’d love the opportunity to work with you or your loved one to provide compassionate, skilled, and respectful care. Please feel free to get in touch via Curam where we can arrange a Curam video call chat.
